We reflect upon the life and times of Sir Peter Hall with gratitude for his research, and development of the sphere of urbanism and planning. The preeminent scholar and historian of planning and urbanism, he contributed over 2100 articles and 50 volumes of work, including the extraordinary Cities in Civilization, achieving 14 honoury degrees, as well as the Royal Town Planning Institute Gold Medal.
Peter Hall died July 30th at the age of 82. His voice will be missed.
