Project Overview
CitySpaces was engaged by the City and Township of Langley to develop a Poverty Reduction Strategy grounded in a Collective Impact approach. This model brought together diverse sectors and community partners in a shared effort to reduce and ultimately eliminate poverty in Langley. A key element of this approach was the establishment of the Poverty Reduction Task Force, whose members played a central role in shaping the Strategy.
Langley’s Poverty Reduction Strategy is aligned with the four guiding principles of TogetherBC, British Columbia’s Poverty Reduction Strategy: affordability, opportunity, reconciliation, and social inclusion.
