Vernon Housing Needs Report

 CitySpaces prepared a comprehensive Housing Needs Report implementing the new legislatively required HNR Method to estimating housing need, with innovative advanced analysis to estimate future housing needs by housing type, tenure, price-point, and bedroom count. This project ran concurrently with Official Community Plan and Transportation Master Plan updates, allowing our detailed assessment of housing need to be directly implemented into the community’s new long-range planning framework.

Our role in the project

CitySpaces led the housing needs report process, with subconsultant support from rennie intelligence to develop population projections supporting both the Official Community Plan and Housing Needs Report processes, and undertook all research, data collection, analysis, report writing, and the creation of report graphics.
