The Blueberry River First Nations is covered under Treaty 8, a treaty that encompasses a landmass of about 840,000 sq. kilometres in Alberta, Saskatchewan, the Northwest Territory and the northeastern part of BC. CitySpaces has been working with this band to identify and analyze potential lands to meet its objective of securing additional reserve lands under the Treaty Land Entitlement process. CitySpaces will continue to assist in the negotiation process, as well as preparing reports, mapping, and involving band members in a consultation process.
