As a Planning Assistant at CitySpaces, Louis is excited to begin his career in planning. A recent graduate of Langara’s Applied Planning program, he received training in land use planning, policy development, GIS and spatial analysis, public engagement, and policy evaluation. With a strong academic background, Louis is well-versed in qualitative and quantitative research and analysis particularly in comparative study frameworks.
Louis applies his writing, research, and technical skills to support a wide range of projects at CitySpaces. Louis’ experience as a youth worker at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. has provided a foundation for strong communication skills, leadership, and organization. His volunteering experience with City of Vancouver’s Participatory Budgeting Pilot provided him with valuable experience in public engagement. With special interest in civic education, Louis aspires to investigate and breakdown complicated problems to better communicate opportunities for solutions.
