“While advances are made by answering questions, stories emerge through questioning the answers.“
With a lifelong passion for environmental and social sustainability, Kevin is continuously inspired by the work he undertakes with CitySpaces. He brings a lens highly-tuned to equity and efficiency, with a focus on needs assessment, area planning, housing affordability, and built form. Attentive to the cumulative effects of, and the patterns emerging from, land-use choices at various scales, Kevin brings unique perspectives on planning for the future, particularly in the consideration of changing needs arising from the dynamics of climate change. As a strong critical thinker and clear communicator, Kevin is adept at bringing together diverse sources of information to understand trends and patterns, and illustrating how they drive real-world outcomes over time.
Kevin applies his research, writing, technical, and analytical skills to lead and support a wide range of CitySpaces projects and enjoys allowing curiosity to guide his exploration of scenarios and possibilities to find solutions to complex problems. With a focus on applied planning approaches, Kevin brings a range of technical skills, including GIS and spatial analysis, methodology development, and statistical analysis.
