Jada Basi will be at the UBCM Convention in Vancouver on Monday, September 25th as a panelist presenter in the Dissecting Affordability – Root Causes and Implications session. With more than 2000 delegates from municipalities across the province, Jada will be focusing on municipal housing tools for small and rural communities, sharing her insights into the policy, regulatory, land use and financial tools that have high impact and applicability to non-urban areas of BC. Jada is joined by Armin Amrolia of BC Housing who will provide the provincial perspective on affordable housing in small and rural communities, as well as Marleen Morris of the Community Development Institute in Prince George on the overall housing context in northern and rural BC.
