Join us at the 2014 BCNPHA (BC Non-Profit Housing Association Conference) as we introduce BC’s first Planning Guide for non-profit housing societies to transition through expiring of their operating agreements (EOA). CitySpaces’ Housing and Social Policy Planner, Jada Basi, will provide a step-by-step overview of the guide including options to consider for improving revenue, raising capital, and finding operational efficiencies towards supporting affordable housing in BC. She will also reflect on CitySpaces’ original research on asset transfers and shared services in the non-profit housing sector.
Jill Atkey from BCNPHA, John Bell from BC Housing, and Margaret Mason from BHT Bull Housser LLP will also share insights on EOA planning during this panel session (Monday, November 17th, 3:30-4:30pm). See you there!
