With a background in social, cultural, and housing policy, Ariella strives to develop community-informed solutions that meet distinct local needs. Before joining CitySpaces, she served as a housing policy advisor to a city councillor, equipping her with a nuanced understanding of municipal policy and planning processes.
Ariella also brings valuable insights from her work in the non-profit sector, where she has contributed to community-engaged research and participatory planning initiatives focused on affordable housing, social and cultural infrastructure, and inclusive economic development. Drawing from these experiences, Ariella applies an equity- and place-based approach to public engagement, policy research, and community development.
