Metro Vancouver Housing Corporation Feasibility Studies

Project Overview

CitySpaces was engaged by Metro Vancouver Housing Corporation to support internal decision-making regarding the potential redevelopment of its housing portfolio, which includes over 3,400 units across 49 sites in the region.

Our team began by conducting a comprehensive portfolio review using the Affordable Housing Redevelopment Criteria Tool to identify sites most suitable for redevelopment. Following this, CitySpaces was retained to develop project concepts and feasibility studies for nine Metro Vancouver Housing Corporation sites located in Vancouver, Surrey, Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and New Westminster.

As a result of this work, Metro Vancouver was able to pursue funding opportunities and has since moved into the construction phase on five of the identified sites.
