At CitySpaces, we believe that planning is first about people and their quality of life.
This belief draws us to projects where we can ensure community and individual needs are reflected in policy and programming. Our social policy and planning practice is diverse, including age-friendly plans, social and community needs assessments, childcare needs assessments and action plans, arts and cultural planning, and poverty reduction strategies.
Project Frameworks That Reflect Local Context
As community planners, we understand how to design project frameworks to fit local context and answer key questions. We review relevant quantitative data to assess trends over time and use this information to inform community engagement sessions. Listening and learning from community members is the cornerstone to thoughtful and effective social planning, and what we hear helps determine a path forward to more equitable outcomes for all.
