Como Lake Gardens is a four-storey housing development for single mothers and their dependent children located on Como Lake Avenue in the City of Coquitlam. The building was thoughtfully designed to complement the site’s unique footprint. CitySpaces took on the role as Development Consultant for the duration of the project .

In early 2008, the Province of British Columbia committed to build over 6,000 new and upgraded housing units, which included 30 units of self-contained housing at 528 Como Lake Avenue.

Operated by YWCA Metro Vancouver, Como Lake Gardens provides safe, affordable housing and meaningful, tenant-centred support services. The combination of housing with on-site support helps residents endeavour to improve their social and economic independence.
